Aromas of gorgeous black cherries and floral notes combine with aromatic spice and coffee. Fruit is sourced from several quality vineyard sites throughout Marlborough including the Omaka and Waihopai Valleys. The palate is warm and smooth with an explosion of juicy cherry and fresh black currants. These fruit flavours are combined with balanced acidity, fine structured tannin and an inviting fresh coffee finish.
This wine underwent malolactic fermentation and oak treatment in a mixture of new and aged French oak.
Well matched with a lamb rack, barbecued sausages or vegetarian pizza.
Drink now or patient cellaring will reward over the next three to four years.

To me this is a very light Pinot Noir. I'm not a great Pinot drinker but have experimented lately buying a few from Blackmarket. Will be a good summer red.
