Bright garnet red, this wine has an expressive nose full of fresh raspberries and warm red plum with hints of aromatic spices. Medium body with bright fruit flavours of boysenberries and warm black and red cherries. Round and smooth on the palate with a long toasty finish. Drinking well now this wine will also cellar under careful storage conditions for approximately three years to five years from vintage date.

Made from Marlborough fruit harvested at optimum flavour maturity. The wine was frequently hand plunged through ferment and underwent 100 per cent malolactic fermentation.

Food Pairing: Well matched with roast lamb or seared fillet steak.
