Elegant and essential Pinot Noir characters on the nose with fragrant and silky with lovely upfront fruit. Medium bodied with red and dark berry concentration ensuring a flavoursome and moreish wine with soft tannins filling out the edges.

Sourced from established vineyards in South Australia. The sheltered aspect and consistent temperatures combine to ensure the retention of natural acidity in the elegant fruit harvested.

2019 was challenging and hot in the South of Australia. The season started at a cracking pace with a hot and early summer that reduced yields. A dry winter was followed by a cool spring before a number of exceptionally hot days prior to vintage. Subsequently yields were down but quality remained excellent.

Healthy and problem free fruit is selected in the vineyard and then picked in the cool of the night and then rushed to the nearby winery for a fast and focused vinification. Fermentation is cool in a closed static fermenter before a short maturation on lees and bottling.
