Aromas of ripe strawberries and toasty oak combine with aromatic spices. The palate is warm and smooth with an explosion of juicy raspberries and fresh black currants. These fruit flavours are combined with balanced acidity, silky tannin structure and a softly textured finish.
This wine underwent malolactic fermentation and oak treatment in a mixture of new and older seasoned French oak before being blended, fined and gently prepared for bottling.
Drink now or patient cellaring will reward over the next five years.
Food Pairing: Well matched with a lamb rack, or fillet steak.
