A lovely vibrant coloured wine with aromas of dark fruits. The palate has bright cranberry, raspberry and strawberry flavors with a smoky oak and earthy finish.
A fine settled growing season produced wonderfully concentrated and expressive fruit. The near perfect weather conditions ensured harvest began in the last week of March and was
completed by mid April.
Four estate blocks were harvsted at optimum ripeness in the early hours of the morning at the end of march. The fruit was then cold soaked and fermented in square stainless steel fermenters, the berries were then gently pressed with 100% malolactic fermentation and aged in a combination of new and old fine grain French oak for 8 months.
