Intense Pinot Noir with a beautiful bouquet of fresh red berries with hints of dried herb and spice. Garnet red in colour with purple hues. Elegant in style with flavours of rich plum, raspberries and toasted spice. Full bodied and well-structured with silky tannins to create a full round weighty palate. Excellent concentration and length with savoury oak and a long smooth finish. Seasoned with a mixture of new and older French toasty oak.
Fruit was sourced from a number of specifically chosen naturally low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of Marlborough.
Food Pairing: A delicious wine to drink now but also well worth cellaring for at least five years from vintage date. Perfect to enjoy alongside spring lamb with rosemary and creamy mash.
