Includes:

1 x Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône 'Les Champauvins' 2015

Awarded 90-92/100 POINTS: Robert Parker's - The Wine Advocate

Awarded 93/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Rated among the 'World's Greatest Wine Estates' by Robert Parker.

The winery sits right in the heart of Chateauneuf as does their Champauvins vineyard which is accessed down a narrow Roman road, on one side of which grow lauded Chateauneuf-du-Pape-designated Grenache vines and on the other side grow Grand Veneur's Côtes du Rhône vines grow. This really is a 'mini Chateauneuf-du-Pape' and it's less than $25!!

Deeper in color than the Cotes du Rhone Reserve, the 2015 Cotes du Rhone les Champauvins is a solid step up, with fabulously complex notes of Bing cherry, blueberries, raspberries, spring flowers and pepper all emerging from the glass. Medium to full-bodied, rich and beautifully textured, it tastes more like a Chateauneuf du Pape than a Cotes du Rhone. Drink it anytime over the coming 4-5 years.
Awarded 90-92/100, RobertParker.com

This is moreish and plush; the lifted bouquet shows dark fruit, cake spice, toasted almond and black olive characters, followed by a beautifully rounded palate that is filled with delicious fruit flavours and silky texture. The wine offers terrific fruit power together with elegant savoury nuances, finishing long and velvety. At its best: now to 2019.

1 x Calvet-Thunevin Côtes du Roussillon Villages 'Cuvee Constance' 2015

Awarded 91/100 POINTS: Robert Parker's, The Wine Advocate

Awarded 94/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

The entry-level red from this estate is the 2015 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Cuvee Constance, and it’s a beauty to buy by the case. Black raspberry, cassis, pepper and wood smoke all emerge from this total charmer that has ample fruit and texture, and a great finish. The blend is 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Carignan aged all in concrete tanks.

A gorgeous blend of grenache, syrah and carignan, the gloriously expressed bouquet shows black/blueberry, plum, cedar, cocoa and mixed spice aromas. The palate is superbly concentrated and fleshy, delivering layers of rich texture and powerful fruit flavours, brilliantly supported by velvety texture and silky tannins.
