The resulting soft, harmonious flavours of dark cherry, plum, chocolate and marzipan make this wine taste like it could be three times the price.

Château Gravettes-Samonac located in Samonac, at the heart of the Côtes de Bourg just across the Gironde from the better known appellation of Margaux.

This classic Claret is ruby red in colour and just beginning to take on hints of red brick. A floral and fruity nose lead to a supple mouth feel and fresh acidity. The blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon allows good fruit characters to be balanced with well integrated tannins.
