Having become a Portuguese wine fanboy during a visit in 2019, I sought some Portuguese wine in NZ. Since Portugal seems primarily focused on the US market, it was great to find a selection in NZ from Black Market. The price was very good for what were stated as Gold medal winning wines. I can confirm that the wines are full bodied, rounded, balanced with a residual berry flavour that makes them great as a pertinent food companion and also as stand alone wines to drink socially. I easily ordered more cases!

Some are full bodied and are stand alone ones. The labels are terrible and would never reveal its quality. There might be more sulfide involved then usual. Not sure, but my sensitive wife reacted badly afterwards with all of them. I liked them and showed no bad afterwards symptoms.
