Description

"Great Pinot Noir bouquet with ripe red cherry, raspberry and spiced wild plum fruit aromas, smoky spicy oak and a core of dark red flowers. Dry, very youthful and firm on the palate, plenty of acidity and textured tannins. The core of flowers and fruits remains adding depth and potential. Cellar time still required for this wine, but has great potential for those who wait. Best from 2020 through 2028" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, May 2018

"It is sweetly fragrant on the nose showing dark cherry, plum, warm spice, toasted almond and game characters with nuances of dried herb and truffle. The palate delivers excellent fruit concentration and purity, wonderfully enhanced by fleshy mouthfeel and velvety texture. The wine offers roundness and beautiful flow, and finishes impressively long and silky. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

"A highly fragrant style of Pinot Noir with juniper & clove spiciness & notes of kirsch cherry. The generosity of fruit & chalky tannins gives the palate a lovely tension & a long, lively finish. The pedigree of this wine is second to none" Wine Maker

This award winning winemaker has created the utterly seductive Pinot Noir. This Marlborough wine serves up a core of spicy black cherry & dark sweet chocolate. Served with a hit of well integrated oak, smooth & velvety tannins create earthy authenticity. With its long & alluring finish this wine should be wrapped in tobacco leaf.

Made with hand harvested grapes, hailing from single vineyard in the Southern Valleys. The juice was barrel aged for 11 months in 25% new & seasoned French barrels.

Though this is a new relaease previous vintages of this mystery Pinot and have been highly acclaimed picking up Trophies and numerous Gold Medals, and this one has already recieved 94 points for Sam Kim...so we dont think you will be far wrong to take a punt and give this one a try!
