Description

"This wine is elegantly fragrant on the nose showing yellow stone fruit, rockmelon, orange peel and subtle nutty characters. The palate is succulent and rounded with creamy texture and attractive fruit intensity, nicely structured by juicy acidity. The wine is flavoursome and friendly, and offers lovely drinking. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, wine Orbit, February 2017

Certified organic chardonnay from the Chardonnay Capital of New Zealand from Geoff and Nicola Wright. Chardonnay that has a distinct 'struck match' aroma, smoky, flinty layers that once pushed through, give way to a ripe, rich, viscose palate packed with peach, caramelised, toasty characters, butterscotch and nutty notes on the finish. It's a complex little chardonnay with bright acidity and a clinging, textural mouthfeel. Nice and natural.
