Description

* Vintage Clearance special *

"These crisp dry Southern French roses make an excellent aperitif. This is another charming rendition displaying peach, citrus, floral and cherry flavours with delicate fruit intensity on the palate. It is light on its feet and finishes long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2017." Sam Kim Wine Orbit Aug 2015.

Aime Roquesante, a modern winery respectful of traditional processes, blends Provence's predominant grapes: cinsault, grenache and syrah. The distinctive bottle, a curvy shape known as a skittle, sets off the pretty color of the wine. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of fresh strawberry and hints of peach. On the palate, taste watermelon, young red berries, citrus and stony minerality on the crisp finish. Drink it as an aperitif or with hors d'oeuvres such as smoked salmon or pate, salads, seafood, fried chicken, barbecue, Asian cuisines, fruit and soft cheeses.
