Powerful aromatics of lime and passionfruit lead into a pure and concentrated palate with snow pea and ripe gooseberry notes. This classy Sauvignon Blanc showcases delicate acidity and textured complexity providing backbone and length.
Poached white fish or sautéed scallops with a rocket and melon salad.
The 2013 vintage was warm and dry and fruit was harvested in pristine condition from the last week of March until late April.
The picturesque vineyard is located on an elevated terrace above the south bank of the Awatere River in Marlborough. The site has been organically certified since 2009. With soils consisting of silty loam over a clay papa pan, the vineyard consistently produces intense, concentrated fruit.
