On the nose, the wine exhibits fragrant elderflower, grapefruit, mandarin, basil and subtle passionfruit notes. This is complimented by subtle oak bringing and underlying creaminess that supports the fruit and adds another layer of complexity. On the palate the wine is medium weight, finely textured and persistent with a slightly flinty edge. This style of Sauvignon Blanc can age gracefully for up to 10 years or more and matches a wider range of foods than the lighter crisper styles.
