Description

  • Medium-dry style
  • Lemon curd & lime
  • White rose
  • Fruity acidity

"Precise and exacting aromas of sweet lemon and apple, lime- flower, pear, white peach and mineral. Youthful, fresh and harmoniously attractive. Off-dry style with residual sweetness to a medium level. Immediately contrasted by acidity highlighting flavours of green apple and lemon, minerality and white flowers. Delicious, fresh and youthful with a long finish. Best drinking from 2022 through 2029+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2021

"Medium-dry riesling with lime zest, white rose, saline and oyster-shell flavours. An initial impression of sweetness is balanced by quite assertive yet fruity acidity that gives the wine some pleasing tension" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2021

Displaying lemon curd & lime zest with beeswax on the nose. Vibrant, rich and crunchy.

An unsettled spring meant a slow start to growing. After some warmer temps mid-November the inclement weather — including some low snowfall — continued into flowering. The vines set with small berries on compact bunches. There was a good amount of rain in January, then it dried out and heated up. Some screaming windstorms visited over Easter but we got through without damage. We brought the crop in at optimal ripeness. The fruit was disease free and delicious. Overall the season was warmer than normal, and the yields lower.
