Sourced from established vineyards in cool, high altitude Tumbarumba, NSW.
After a terrible 2020 growing season the vignerons of the region celebrated a fantastic outcome in 2021. Although wet early in the season, it stayed cool and dry for the remainder of the months up to harvest ensuring yields were up as well as the quality.
Organic Pinot Noir fruit was picked and de-stemmed, fermented with wild yeast and left on skins for 10 days prior to pressing.
Cowpunk are small batch wines made from single sites, craftedby Aaron Mercer and grown by long term friends and acquaintances. 100% unashamedly natural, Cowpunk is leading the charge for the modern drinker seeking wines made in a hands off manner but still want complexity and enjoyment.
