Description

  • French oak
  • White peach
  • Barrel spice
  • Full-bodied

"It's gorgeously styled and elegantly expressed on the nose showing white flesh peach, grapefruit, vanilla and roasted cashew characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and persistency together with creamy texture and bright acidity, finishing long and complex. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2021

"Bright, straw-yellow with a slight green hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is elegantly full, filled the glass with roasted almonds, barrel spice and creaminess with a stonefruit core. Full-bodied, aromas of stonefruit melded with grapefruit and citrus zest, enriched by roasted almonds, toast, whipped butter, and a subtle toffee linger on the finish. This wine has body; ripe fruit complement the toasty barrel details, barrel spice elevate to a rich finish. Match with roasted chicken and carbonara over the next 3-4 years. Clone 95, barrel-fermented to 14.5% alc, aged in 100% French oak for 10 months, 35% new oak. MLF occurred. Vegan friendly" Candice Chow, Raymond Chow Reviews, Jun 2021

This Chardonnay was made from grapes grown on the family owned vineyard. Ripe hand picked fruit and barrel fermentation in French oak has given a wonderfully balanced wine with rich texture and fruit. The wine shows delightful aromas of grapefruit and apricots with white peach and hints of almond on the palate. This wine is best served slightly chilled.
