AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 4 STARS & TOP VALUE: Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2021

"Offering impressive fruit purity and power, it's instantly appealing with green rockmelon, passionfruit, kiwifruit and kaffir lime notes on the nose, followed by a concentrated palate delivering excellent weight and juicy fruit intensity. Wonderfully fruited and hugely appealing" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2021

"Bright, pale yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is softly full and lifted, nuances of lime, fresh-cut herbs, melded with gooseberries, guava and white spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of guava, lime, mango layers entwined white spice and cut herbs. The flavours have intensity and depth, support by well-balanced lively acidity. Fine-textured, chalky phenolic carry a hint of sea salt linger to linearity. This is a refined Sauvignon Blanc with well-defined layers of tropical fruit, herbs and spices. Match with sweet & sour fish and steamed mussels over the next 3-4 years" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, Aug 2021

"Full-bodied, almost luscious sauvignon blanc with passionfruit, guava, struck-flint, melon and lime flavours supported by fruity acidity and fine, peppery tannins" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2021

This wine was created to redefine the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc style. A real crowd pleaser, it is loved for its juicy, ripe flavours and restrained acidity. Each glass is brimming with succulent flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruit and crushed black currant leaf. The fruit flavour is balanced with crisp acidity and a distinct salty minerality, which combine to create a mouth-watering finish.

1 x Framingham's 'Nobody's Hero' Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Showing bright aromatics of grapefruit, sweet herbs and nettle. Distinctive yellow citrus on the palate, with red capsicum and a splash of more tropical fruit. The wine is dry, with a mouth-watering line of fine acid. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.

Food Pairing: Versatile on the table; try green lipped mussels or other shellfish, Caesar salad.

Alc: 13%

1 x Kumeu Village Pinot Gris 2020

The aromas have typical peach and stone fruit notes tinged with the floral perfume that we have come to expect from Pinot Gris. The wine is lively, complex and lingers on the palate.

Food Pairing: Pinot Gris is a variety that goes particularly well with food, including quite intensely flavoured dishes. It is also one of the few wine styles that can handle the spiciness of chilli.

Alc: 13.5%

1 x Villa Sandi Veneto Pinot Grigio IGT 2019 (Italy)

Very bright pale straw yellow. Aroma predominantly of fruity and flowery fragrances reminiscent of the countryside in summer. A dry, round and flavoursome taste, with a fruity, warm and wellbalanced finish.

Food Pairing: A perfect accompaniment for mediterranean first courses with rock-fish and cherry tomatoes. Excellent with raw ham and melon or with fresh, creamy cheeses.

Alc: 11.5%

1 x Telmo Rodriguez Basa 2020 (Spain)

Crisp, clean flavours of yellow plums and white peaches.

1 x Martin Códax Alba Martín Rias Baixas Albariño 2019 (Spain)

AWARDED 5 STARS: Michael Cooper

"From Galicia, in Spain's north-west, this vigorous, medium-bodied wine is full of personality. Vibrantly fruity, it has strong peachy flavours, a slightly salty streak and a dry, lasting finish. Delicious now" Michael Cooper

Vivid straw-yellow green colour. Bright and shiny in the glass. Intense and elegant aromas with hints of white stone fruits and white flowers. The proximity to the sea gives the wine its freshness and saltiness and the granitic soils enhance its natural minerality. On the palate, the wine is rounded and full-bodied, with a light petillance that adds to its vivacious sense of freshness, and an impressive persistence on the finish.
