This traditional blend has distinctive varietal characters of plums, blackberries, coffee and dark chocolate with hints of violet flower. It is a mouth-filling wine of great length with textured soft tannins.
Mr Micks passion for producing wines for everyone to enjoy is well demonstrated in this classic blend of Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, a blend that has been popular for many years.
Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were fermented for a week with their skins, gently pressed and racked prior to French oak ageing. After oak maturation, parcels were selected and blended, filtered and bottled.
