A contemporary dry gin with a unique New Zealand twist. Pristine water is sourced from the aquifer that feeds the clearest spring in the world. Perfectly balanced on the palate, this gin is spice forward with subtle hints of cardamom, coriander, peppercorns, and locally foraged native manuka leaves.
Around the actual Dancing Sands Spring in Golden Bay, there is a nature walk that meanders through native Manuka trees. It was through connecting with the Spring in the early days that founders Sarah and Ben Bonoma decided to add locally foraged Manuka to their Dry Gin, which is a contemporary and New Zealand take on the green pine flavour associated with some of the world’s most famous Dry Gins. Aiming for a more interesting spice forward taste, they experimented with a variety of botanicals to find the perfect balance. After trailing 44 different recipe iterations, they finally landed on the right recipe made up of manuka leaves, coriander, cardamom, peppercorns, almonds, liquorice root, angelic root, and juniper beers. Double distilled and vapour infused with 8 carefully selected botanicals, it is blended with pristine water from the aquifer that feeds the clearest spring in the world.
