Description

  • White flowers
  • White fruits
  • Balanced
  • Soft texture

Bright, pale golden colour with silver hints and aromas of white flowers and white fruits. The palate is nicely balanced, the Clairette brings the freshness and the white Grenache brings the body and softness.

It is a blend of 60% white Grenache and 40% Clairette grown on essentially clay-limestone soil.

After pressing, the must is cold-settled for 48 hours and fermentation temperatures are controlled. The wine matures in vats without malolactic fermentation followed by early bottling at the end of winter.

This is an outstanding wine for the money - not your typical Cotes du Rhone blanc - white Grenache & Clairette make for a bone dry wine with enough fruit to make it versatile as an aperitif or with pasta/seafood/chicken. Love it!
