"An elegant expression, the bouquet shows dark plum, dried herb, roasted nut and anise notes, followed by a well-rounded palate that's supple and smooth. It's fruit forward and flavoursome with gentle weight and fine tannins, finishing lingering and pleasingly dry" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2020

"Dark, ruby-red with some depth and a little transparent, even throughout. The nose is gently full with aromas of red berries, strawberries melded with oak spice element. Full-bodied, flavours of red berries and wild strawberries entwined with the oak spices of cardamon and nutmeg. The fruit is fleshy and lush with good intensity and acid balance. Fine-grained tannin extraction adds body and weight, youthful presence with a good grip; nutmeg and cardamon spices and fruit lingers to a sustained finish. This is a full-bodied red with lush red fruit and oak spice details on a fine-grained tannin grip. Match with grilled barbeque meat and meat pie with cheese over the next 2-4 years. Fermented to 13.5%. A portion of the cuvee aged in French and American oak" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Aug 2020

Delicious Merlot not only captures Merlot’s smoothness and renowned creamy plum and cedar complexity but also reflects in equal measure the sun blessed charm of the South of France. A perfect combination for serious yet leisurely enjoyment.

3 x  Château Les Fermenteaux 2018 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard – Les Experts du Vin

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: China Wine & Spirits Awards 2019

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Japan Women’s Wine Awards

Classic Bordeaux blend of 70 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 % Cabernet Franc and 5 % Malbec. Deep purplish red in colour. A generous fruit-driven nose evoking redcurrant blackberry and cherry. Good body on the palate enveloped by supple tannins leading to balanced aromas of red summer berries. The finish is frank, underpinned by subtle spicy, woody notes.

3 x Preciso Nero d'Avola 2018 (Italy)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard

Nero d’Avola is the most important and widely planted red-wine grape variety in Sicily. Having spent most of the 20th century as a blending grape its fortunes have changed in recent years and is now often produced as a varietal wine.

Often compared to Syrah because it likes similar growing conditions this wine is smooth and intensely fruity. Layers of red berry fruit make this a great quaffer!

3 x Casa Santos Lima Red Blend Portugal Tinto 2017 (Portugal)

AWARDED DOUBLE GOLD: Sakura Japan Women's Wine Awards 2019

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Challenge International du Vin 2019

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Austrian Wine Challenge 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: New York International Wine Competition 2019

AWARDED 90/100 POINTS: Wine Enthusiast

Portuguese winemakers are masters at blending different grapes, and this wine is seen as a homage to their skills. Bringing together a range of Portuguese and international varieties, the wine is smooth, structured and richly tannic. It has great acidity to balance the black fruits. Delicious drinking!
