Lifted notes of ripe pear and apple with a subtle spice note. The palate is juicy and mouth filling with delicious ripe green pear, and warm pastry. The wine is beautifully textured and expressive showing excellent weight and length. Harmonious, approachable and definitely worth a second glass (or bottle!).
The grapes for this wine were grown in premium vineyards in the Wairau Valley and Awatere Valley in heart of Marlborough.
Food Pairing: Well matched with roast duck and pumpkin gratin.
