"Gorgeously fruited and elegantly complex, the wine shows spiced cherry, thyme, smoked game and roasted nut characters on the nose. "Brilliant ruby-red with some depth and transparency, slightly lighter on edge. The bouquet is fragrant and pretty, penetrating nuances of deep florals, sweet cherries, melded with red berries and red plums, along with subtle earth and crushed herbs. Medium-bodied, juicy core of cherries, red berries and plums aromas have lovely concentration, black pepper unfolding, alongside crushed herbs and deep florals nuances. Powdery tannin extraction provides the substance for the sweet fruit, enliven by lacy acidity. Spices lifted the palate to a brighter mouthfeel, added interest.
