A lovely herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc displaying classic cool-climate tropical flavours and a lovely, well balanced finish. Clear Green Tinged.
From a selection of their growers grapes in the Nelson Region, hand made and blended at the Upper Moutere Winery.
Trout Valley Wines are from Nelson, New Zealand. The region includes three National Parks, the largest being Kahurangi, known for its great natural beauty and is home to some of the finest Brown trout fishing water in the world.
Predominantly stony alluvial soils on ancient river beds. 2020 Harvest was another stand-out vintage for the Nelson region. Starting with a warm spring, it continued on through a long, hot and very dry summer and autumn resulting in superb, clean, ripe fruit packed with intense flavours perfect for making sensational wine.
Food pairing: Serve chilled with fresh oysters, new season’s asparagus or summer salads.
