Description

  • Subtle spice
  • Floral notes
  • Dark cherry
  • Cranberry

"Youthful and brightly expressed, the bouquet shows dark cherry, cranberry, floral and subtle spice aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate that is succulent and supple. The wine offers youthful charm and lovely drinkability with a lengthy tasty finish. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2019

Blackcurrant like colour in appearance with subtle tanning edges typical of Pinot Noir. The nose is lifted and bright with strawberry plus red and black currants with juicy berried fruits flowing through to the mid-weight palate. The wine has lovely depth of flavour and whilst is a wonderful table wine and food accompaniment, this Pinot Noir also looks great after a short chill in the fridge on a warm day.

Rambling Roses is the sophisticated culmination of insighftul and consumer led wine-making crafted in the heart of South Australia. The result is a bright, contemporary wine style that over-delivers on flavour and interest and is even great with a chill.

Sourced from low-yielding Pinot Noir vineyards across South Australia. From the premium heartland of the Limestone Coast across to the earlier picked, dry grown and full of life vineyards of the Riverland.

Picked early with sufficient ripeness to deliver berry fruit character with a fine natural acidity. Delivered to the winery for a moderate press to extract some colour combined with the best of the free run juice. Fermented and matured in stainless steel with some time on skins before and a relatively quick release.
