Description
Pale green and straw colour in the glass. Vibrant melon, snow pea and wet river stone with a touch of tropical fruit. Bursting with rich, ripe fruit. This wine has a wonderful mouthfeel and a bright refreshing finish.
This season produced lifted flavours with generous mouth feel and texture. Powerfully aromatic, brimming with character and liveliness! This premium range Waipara Hills showcases the very best varietals of the South Island regions of New Zealand.
Parcels were brought into the winery and quickly pressed and run to take to protect from oxidization. The juice was settled, then racked, warmed and inoculated with a range of aromatic yeasts. After approximately four weeks the ferments were finished. The wines were chilled and topped so that the aromatic flavours were released from the yeast lees. After another four weeks the wines were racked, and wearmed ready for blending, after which they were fined using traditional methods.
