"This is a bright and vibrant dry Rosé with cherry and strawberry flavours with florals and minerals on a slippery, refreshing palate. Serve as an aperitif, with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. The majority of the blend is Merlot from a renown vineyard in Hawkes Bay, given a short period of skin contact and cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 4.2 g/L RS, the wine aged 4 months in tank" Raymond Chan, Aug 2018

Fragrant aromas of rose petal and strawberries lead into flavours of delicious summer berries. This dry styled wine is best served lightly chilled and can be enjoyed with food or on its own.

This Merlot dominant Rosé is produced from a renown vineyard in Hawke's Bay. The light soil type and the unique meso-climate of this vineyard combined with the bright summer of 2018 has produced a fresh and aromatic wine.

A classical approach to Rosé winemaking was employed in the creation of this wine. Harvested grapes were left to rest briefly on skins before being gently pressed. The gentle extraction of colour during this period has resulted in the wines delicate pink hue. Following a brief settling period the juice was then cool fermented to ensure the preservation of fruit purity, freshness and aromatic intensity. Post fermentation the wine rested for several months before being lightly fined, filtered and bottled.

Food Pairing: Salads, antipasto and mild flavoured white meats.
