Citrus minerality with tropical notes and touches of gooseberry. The palate weight is rich and full, balanced with refined acidity.
Fruit hand harvested and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless settle tanks after gentle pressing. We have used the best strains of yeast most suited to the distinctive aromatics of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Lees ageing (6 months) prior to bottling has developed midpalate weight adding to the wine’s intense fruit characters.
Misty Cove’s Landmark Sauvignon Blanc is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, Misty Cove crafted this wine to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the Fareham Lane vineyard from which it originated.
