Grown at Dillons Point, in the lower Wairau Valley, and handled without oak, it is a fresh, punchy, medium-bodied wine with good intensity of grapefruit, passionfruit and lime flavours, a slightly salty streak, and a lingering, dry (3.8 grams/litre residual sugar) finish. The Sauvignon Blanc fruit was harvested from a single vineyard in the Dillon’s Point area of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. This wine has vibrant aromas of passionfruit, black current and gooseberry. The palate has similar vibrant characteristics with wonderful integrated minerality, fresh acidity and a long lingering finish.
