Coopers Creek Cee Vee Gisborne Chardonnay Viognier 2020

I think this is a lovely wine, with delicate acidity, soft citrus (lemon cheesecake-y) and stone fruit flavours, and a pleasant weight and mouthfeel from the Viognier. Perhaps some oak was used, but subtlely enough to add only to the texture -- it isn't noticeable on the nose or palate. Definitely in its drinking window; the cellaring has been done for you. This winery is one of the New Zealand OGs and I'm delighted both to support them and drink top notch wine at the same time.

I wasn't totally surprised when this turned out to be Pol Remy, which is one of my regular purchases! Found it very pleasing therefore.
