On the opposite side of the Gironde to the First Growths of Medoclie the vineyards of Blaye. The prestigious Ch du Haut Guerin has been a flagship of this appellation since 1871. The iconic Bordeaux winemakers , Coureau et Coureau have been able to achieve the best expression of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in this exceptional Cru. A pleasant nose of blackcurrants and blackberries go hand in hand with a herbaceous quality and menthol finish. The palate is full with supple tannins and a long elegant finish.
