Tamari means "Do things with passion". Tamari wines are a true reflection of the passionate life style and culture of the Argentinian people. Most of the vines planted are in the Uco Valley. A premium wine growing area in Mendoza, around 1000 - 1600 metres above sea level, producing sought after wines.

This collection includes some staple wines that are well loved among the community and will make a great addition to your wine rack.

Collection Includes:

3 x Bodega Tamari Mendoza Chardonnay 2017 (Argentina)

Bright yellow gold colour in the glass. Aromas of tropical fruits such as bananas and melons and apple; perfectly integrated with the vanilla from the fermentation in oak. It is a fresh wine, mid-palate and elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with Mediterranean salads.

Alc: 13% - Seal: Screw cap

3 x Bodega Tamari Mendoza Pinot Grigio 2016 (Argentina)

"Here’s a lean, minerally Pinot Grigio with a hint of salinity, dried pear and nashi notes.  There’s a creaminess on the finish which mellows out some of the heat of the alcohol and allows some fruit notes to sneak through.  Good value Grigio" Yvonne Lorkin, Apr 2018

Yellow with steel tones in the glass. Aromas of roasted yellow apples with the typical floral contribution of the Uco Valley. It is a fresh, fruity and crispy wine, with nice clean and fresh finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal to accompany ceviche.

Alc: 13% - Seal: Screw cap

6 x Bodega Tamari Mendoza Malbec 2017 (Argentina)

AWARDED 90/100 POINTS & 4.5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2019

"This is bold and brooding with dark berry, roasted nut, tar and warm spice notes on the nose, followed by a beautifully weighted palate that's succulent and fruit expressive. Well structured by grainy tanins, making it a lovely food partner. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2019

Red intense purplish brilliant colour. Aroma of fresh flowery notes, ripe red fruits like plums, cherries and chocolate assembled with spicy notes and the subtle moka. The entry is sweet, middle palate, firm structure and fruity finish. Aging in oak barrels adds complexity, and notes of hazelnuts, almonds and cinnamon.

Food Pairing: Ideal with mushroom risotto, paella, roast rabbit grilled red meats, lamb, ostrich, wild boar, duck, pork and strong cheeses.

Alc: 12.5% - Seal: Cork

Vintages may change.
