Description

"A lovely elegant rendition, the appealing bouquet shows raspberry, red apple, peach and floral aromas, followed by a vibrant palate that is delicately fruited and finely textured. The wine delivers elegance and bright fruit flavours, finishing long and pleasingly crisp. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2017

"Bright, very pale candy-floss pink, lighter on the rim. The nose is gentle in expression with softly packed aromas of strawberries and quince with fragrant red florals and confectionary, unfolding delicate, thirst-quenching mineral suggestions. The florals blossom in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a finely concentrated core of delicate flavours of strawberries and cream and quince, with nuances of red florals and confectionary. The mouthfeel is fresh and zesty, and positively mouthwatering, and the wine flows along a very fine-textured phenolic thread with underlying drive, leading to a light, fragrant floral-nuanced finish. This is a fine and delicate fruited dry rosé with strawberries and cream, quince and florals on a thirst-quenching palate. It is in the Provencal style. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. "A Pinot Blend” (presumably Noir and Gris), primarily from the Awatere and Redwood Pass the Pinot Noir given 24 hours skin contact, and fermented to 13.0% alc. and 6.0 g/L RS, the wine undergoing batonnage" Raymond Chan, Raymond Chan Reviews, Aug 2017

This wine is designed to capture your senses! A seductive pink colour reflects the delicious medley of berries, white peach and floral aromas and flavours in the glass. A wonderfully refreshing Rosé, its best enjoyed slightly chilled with time on your side.

Coming from stunning Marlborough, where the climate is not too hot or too cold, surrounded by beautiful rivers, mountains and the pristine South Pacific Ocean. It inspires the winemakers at Summerhouse to make pure, fresh wines. They encourage you to drink these wines in moments such as the end of the day or weekend, where you can you can truly relax and feel the atmosphere they have every day out in the vines!
