Ruby red of medium depth with purple huesin the glass. The bouquet holds aromas of dark cherries and spicy oak and mellow notes of plums. The palate offers a medium bodied wine displaying soft juicy dark fruit flavours. Mocha oak and savoury tannins add length to the palate. The wine is youthful and well balanced.
Sourced from selected vineyards within South-Eastern Australia, this modern and contemporary wine is fresh and vibrant. The contact with oak during fermentation adds some complex toasty characters.
Food Pairing: Crafted to drink now, either on its own otherwise particularly well-suited to a variety of red meat dishes including BBQ spare ribs.

I have drunk well over a hundred bottles of this wine. It is very easy drinking - not quite as inky as those big shirazes that cost more than double, but certainly not thin either. It is surprisingly smooth and has a slight sparkle on the tongue when freshly opened, which I love.
