Misty Cove Estate Sauvignon Blanc is made to truly reflect their philosophy of producing a value for money wine with distinctive pure, wonderful fruit flavours and and aromas typical of the Marlborough region.
The fruit for exceptional blend was grown at our upper Wairau, Waihopai and Rapaura vineyards. Each vineyard was treated individually to ensure integrity of the vineyard and to retain the individual characters each site has to offer as well as providing the best blending possibilities. Beautifully fragrant, the immediately appealing nose shows nectarine, rock melon, feijoa and lime zest characters with a hint herbaceous notes. The palate is succulent and lively, and displays excellent fruit weight and intensity, finishing juicy and lingering.
Food Pairing: Pair the intensely aromatic elements beautifully with south-east Asian flavours such as lime, chilli and coriander or Thai fish cakes. Alternatively, enjoy alone, simply as a classy aperitif.
