Nice pale gold colour in the glass with fine and delicate bubbles. A fresh and lively palate offers notes of summer fruit and a slightly sweet yet dry, effervescent charm. The Armand de Chambray Brut is a great French sparking wine, where French sparkling is revered in the world over for its consistently high quality, this is simply no exception to the rule.. Aromas of peach, lemon and elderflower, with hints of hazelnuts and fresh butter are found on the nose whilst the mouth-feel is well balanced and fresh, with citrus notes and light bubbles.
Aftrer establishing himself as succesful wine merchant in the heart of Burgundy in the 19th century the passionate, Armand de Chambray set off for a greater conquest of Europe. His ambition and fine reputation led him to the most prestigious Royal courts of his time, that is to say, England, Poland, Scandinavia and Russia. Today, it is in the memory of Armand de Chambray that the Compagnie Vinicole de Bourgogne proudly produces this fine sparkling wine that holds his name.

I sit on the fence a little with this, crisp, but a little rasiny, hints of port, a liitle cloying. Not my fav but would drink if in Covid lockdown and all I had would drink it
