The lifted nose shows lime zest, grapefruit, red apple and herbaceous characters, followed by a vibrant palate that delivers lively fruit flavours and juicy acidity. The wine is crisp and dry, making it a lovely aperitif.
Sauvignon Blanc grapes were sourced from both the Awatere and Wairau valleys. The grapes were harvested in the early hours of the morning to retain crisp varietal character. Pinot Noir grapes were hand picked and hand sorted then very gently pressed. The wines were then blended 95% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Pinot Noir to give the wine it's beautiful blush colour.
