"90pts... Youthful, elegant and delicately fragrant, the nose shows white stone fruit, rockmelon and strawberry characters with a floral lift. It is juicy and lively on the palate, offering fine texture and bright acidity. A lovely dry style with a lingering refreshing finish. At its best: now to 2017' Sam Kim Wine Orbit
"Pale strawberry pink with some depth and slight, pale peach hues on the rim. The nose is fresh, clean and delicate with aromas of red florals along with redcurrants and pomegranate, revealing watermelon and mineral nuances in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the plate features a bright, firm and aromatic heart of red florals, strawberries, redcurrants and pomegranate. The fruit has richness and a suggestion of unctuousness, but is balanced by fine dry textures and fresh, but soft acidity. The acidity carries the wine to a long, lingering, fine-textured, mouthwatering finish of pomegranate and redcurrant fruit. This is a fresh, bright rosé with a rich core of redcurrant and pomegranate fruit, and a fine-textured palate. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and tapas over th next 2+ years. A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, 100% pressed and fermented to 13.0% alc., the wine aged 3-4 months on fine lees without oak contact." Raymond Chan
The Chapoutier Rosé 2015 is a 100% pressed rosé. The musts under go very little racking in order to develop the wine’s volume yet maintain its freshness. Balance is the golden rule. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature for 15 days and then the wine is aged on its fine lees in stainless steel or concrete vats for 3-4 months.
Ideal for aperitif drinking, it will also go well with summer cuisine: salads, grills and dishes from the south of France.
The Grenaches are grown on clay and limestone soils mainly facing directly East, while the Cinsaults are planted on the plain in predominantly sandy soils.

A little more flavour than the villa Blanche but both are really good value. I prefer subtle rosé’s
