"Dark, moderately deep ruby-red colour, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is soft and gently full with aromas of savoury red cherry and berry fruit entwined with dried herb and earthy notes. This has a fruity rusticity to the aromatics. Medium-bodied, the mouthfeel is bright and lively with brisk acidity enlivening the savoury dark red cherry and berry fruits. Subtle, piquant herb, and earthy elements add to the flavours. The fruit is supported by light, grainy tannin grip and fresh acidity, and the palate flows to a softly packed finish with soft, dark cherry and earthy fruit notes. This is a light, earthy and herby influenced country-style Chianti with some grip and freshness. Sangiovese 85%, Merlot 10%, Other red grapes 5%. Unoaked to mantain freshness and vivacity, the wine remains in temperature controlled tanks until March/April following the vintage.

Clear, ruby-red in colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure. Perfumes of cherries and fresh red fruit, mingle with spicy, peppery notes. The wine is lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft, rounded tannins. Good intensity, attractive structure and fine, long length.

Maceration on the skins takes place during fermentation and lasts approximately 8 days . Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of  28 -29°C. Frequent pumping over and delastages are made to ensure an intense and persistent fruit aroma. The wine is stored until March in thermo-conditioned tanks.
