Brilliant, dark cherry red with violet hue. Intense rich aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, cassis with notes of exotic spices and minerals. The wine has a rich and juicy attack on the palate of fresh ripe berry fruits combined with spicy and minerally notes and well balanced touch of toasted oak; a refreshing acidity and soft velvet tannins. Full bodied wine with a long aftertaste.

The grapes were mechanically harvested at the optimum stage of ripeness throughout the first three weeks of October. Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks of 40.000 kilos at 24-28ºC. Up to 16 days maceration. Pressed and racked to stainless steel tanks where the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. A percentage of the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels before blending back into the final blend.
