Black plum and rich berry fruits with a hint of raisin and subtle oak character. Rich and juicy with dark berry flavours and well-balanced oak. The palate shows good structure with medium tannins and a lingering finish.

Enjoy with hearty beef and stout pie, roast rack of lamb or mild Asian beef stir fry. Also perfect while standing around a BBQ. Best enjoyed now but may be cellared for up to four years to enhance more chocolaty, aged notes.

The 2015 Shiraz was fermented at moderate temperatures with pump overs programmed for a desired soft tannin effect. Pressing and malolatic fermentation were followed by clarification and maturation on small amounts of premium quality French and American oak chips.

The fruit for this wine was harvested from our Deakin Estate vineyards in the Murray Darling region, North West Victoria.
