Description
As with every Clifford Bay wine, the fruit is the focal point here. Our Chardonnay is crisp and focused with apricot, lemon curd and citrus highlights with subtle French oak and true varietal character.
Clifford Bay harvest fruit from both estate and grower vineyards located in Marlborough?s two marquee regions: the Awatere and Wairau Valleys. All of their vineyards are sustainably farmed and the Clifford Bay Winery is Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand certified.

Found it in Mangawhai a few weeks ago . 2013 was a particularly good year (Selaks budget chardonnay was the same excellence; 2014 was disappointing - hope Clifford Bay won't be the same )
