"Bright and elegantly fragrant, the wine shows sweet cranberry, apricot and crunchy apple characters, leading to a delightfully refreshing palate that's juicy and lingering. Beautifully composed and expressed, offering excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Plush, ripe and red fruit aromas of raspberry and dark strawberry, some red apple skin and a touch of lifted spice. Young, fresh and vibrant. On the palate, equally vibrant and fresh with plenty of acidity and fruit spice. Young and vibrant and ideally suited to summer 2024 imbibing. Well made and ready to drink form day of purchase through end of summer 2026" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

An abundant fruity nose with tropical notes and a hint of ripe peaches. The palate is dry and full with lush flavours of apricot and a touch of rock melon. Drink young and fresh through to 2025.

From a selection of our growers in the Nelson region. Mainly gravelly with areas of light sandy loam soils, blended with grapes grown on Moutere clay.

Harvest 2023 was also a challenging season to start with. Variable fruit set and early disease pressure made it challenging work for our team out in the vineyards. It settled down with a dry, hot January, then February kicked in and was wet from start to end. March came along and the weather behaved until harvest time. We ended up with good quality fruit across all varieties and about average sized volumes. All in all, a very good year and some lovely wines to follow.

100% Stainless Steel fermentation. Blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with a small amount of Merlot which lends it beautifully to high quality Rosé.

Kahurangi Estate is named after the stunning Kahurangi National Park on our doorstep. Kahurangi is a Maori word with a number of translations, two being “treasured possession” and “precious jewel”. The Kahurangi Estate Series showcases some of the finest wine the region has to offer.

Food Pairing: A perfect summer sipper, served chilled on its own or with classic picnic food like cold roast chicken, ham and salad rolls or a flavoursome hard cheese.
