1 x Framingham Marlborough Chardonnay 2022

Awarded 93/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Nov 2023

"A delicious wine ticking all the boxes of texture and ripeness, flavours of yellow stone fruits and citrus then flavours of peach custard and vanilla. The mouthfeel is excellent with a firmness from the mix of fruit and wood tannins, core fruit intensity and acid line that stretches the across the palate with ease. Taut, youthful and dry with a light chalky texture, a balanced and judicious use of oak; a wine that will develop nice over the next 1-3 years. Best drinking from mid to late 2024 through 2028" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Nov 2023

Aromatics of ripe yellow citrus, nectarine and brioche. A finely textured palate with an array of flavours from Meyer lemon to stone fruits with a lively acid to savour. Framingham Marlborough Chardonnay is a wine that relies on harmony between quality fruit and winemaking technique to achieve balance.

Food Pairing: All kinds of cheeses, white meats and rich seafood such as koura (crayfish) and smoked warehou.

Alc: 13.5%

1 x Greenhough Road Block Nelson Chardonnay 2021

Struck match complexity on the nose with ripe citrus and yellow-fruits defining a fleshy, succulent palate that has a Chablis-like freshness and hint of oyster-shell flint. Fruit concentration is the basis of this wine with oak, malolactic ferment and yeast characters all adding richness and background support.

Alc: 13.15%

1 x The Landing Boathouse Bay Of Islands Chardonnay 2021

AWARDED 5 STARS: Michael Cooper
AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
AWARDED 93/100 POINTS: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Apr 2023

"A great introduction to Northland whites, the very harmonious 2021 vintage (5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked and made with use of barrel fermentation. Highly refined, it is full-bodied, with strong, vibrant, peachy, citrusy fruit flavours to the fore, mealy and savoury notes adding complexity, good acid spine and a lengthy finish. Delicious in its youth, but ageworthy too, it should be at its best mid-2024" Michael Cooper

"Beautifully fruited and delightfully inviting, the bouquet shows ripe stone fruit, lemon peel, vanilla and roasted hazelnut aromas, leading to a succulent palate offering pristine fruit flavours with elegant oak infusion. Charming and delectably appealing. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Enticing, fresh, fruity and varietal bouquet with scents of quince and apple, grapefruit and yellow stone fruits. The oak scents are moderate with a spice and vanilla quality. On the palate there’s also a bite to the oak accentuated by the acid line. Flavours from the bouquet are concentrated on the palate with a freshness and combined with alcohol and acidity coat the palate with intensity and a satin mouthfeel. Well made with best drinking from  2023 through 2027+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Apr 2023

The Boathouse Chardonnay like its namesake is a real crowd pleaser. Poised and elegant, showing aromas of ripe stonefruit and citrus with a mineral complexity. The palate has a fruit-forward expression softened by subtle oak and malolactic fermentation, balanced with juicy acidity on the finish.

1 x Wild Rock Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2015

Pale golden straw colour. Warming aromatics of fresh butter on toast, mandarin peel and peach. The palate is juicy with ripe stonefuit flavours, good oak integration and an excellent long dry finish.

Food Pairing: Fish and poultry.

Alc: 13.2%

1 x Rapaura Springs Reserve Marlborough Chardonnay 2022

AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews

"This is splendidly expressed on the nose with ripe apricot, rockmelon, vanilla and roasted cashew aromas, leading to a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and rounded. Wonderfully composed and delightfully expressed with succulent fruit flavours and creamy texture, offering terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is elegantly full, with aromas of stonefruit, apple, underlined flint, minerals and nutty elements. Medium-full bodied, aromas of peach and nectarine melded with toffee apple, unfolding minerals, cashew butter and spice. The mouthfeel is gently creamy, well-balanced by lively acidity. Delicate spice adds interest and power to an elegant finish. This Chardonnay shows a stonefruit core, spice and sleek oak interest and a fine acid line" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews

Our Rapaura Springs Reserve Chardonnay is rich and flavourful. Each bottle is bursting with honeysuckle, white peach, nectarine and fresh citrus, all complemented by toasty vanilla and subtle spiced oak characters.

Alc: 13%

1 x Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay 2022

The excellent 2022 vintage came on the heels of three others, in a magnificent chain of four superb quality harvests. The Kumeu vineyards that contribute to this wine gave us a blend of Chardonnay that is particularly ripe, peachy and not only delicious to drink. But also has the concentration and lingering complexity that we expect from this wine. This is quality Chardonnay wine of style and pedigree that we know has the capability of aging as well as any of its predecessors.
