- Mouthwatering
"Very fragrant and enticing boquuet with scents of fresh whote blossoms and red apple, there’s a core of sweet citrus with limeflower and a mineral stone suggestion. Off-dry on the palate with a momenttary rush of of sweetness then contrasting acidity takes over with core fruit flavours of white tree fruits and citrus. Mineral and fine, balanced and well made. Great drinking from 2022 through 2027+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2022
"Bright, even, pale straw-yellow with a light green hue. The nose is fresh and gently full; citrus and apple filled the bouquet, followed by blossom and lime zest. Medium-light bodied, off-dry to taste, green apple, lime and zest, lime blossom and magnolia. Mouth-watering acidity flows with good energy and carries fine phenolics reminiscent of apple skins to a crisp finish. A touch of sweetness balanced the vibrant acidity and contributed to weight. This off-dry Riesling possesses an apple and citrus core with beautiful floral details and a crispy finish. Match with whitebait fritters and pan-fried flounder over the next 5+ years" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, Oct 2022
Aromas of Kaffir lime, lemon and Jasmine blossom are mixed with hazelnuts and a touch of spice. The palate is bright and pure with a beautiful grainy texture, honeysuckle, and ripe citrus flavours. This waxy textured riesling has great concentration and a lovely balance of sweetness and mouth-watering acidity.
The fruit was hand harvested from vineyards in the Southern Valleys.
A balanced growing season led to healthy vines and perfect ripening conditions. A cool February resulted in this year’s wines having expressive aromatics, great energy, and fresh lively acidity with a tight structure on the palate.
Partially whole bunch pressed and then fermented cool in stainless steel. The fermentation was stopped when the sweetness and acidity were in perfect balance. The wine then rested on fine lees for two months to gain texture and palate weight.
