Dark garnet in colour displaying attractive red fruit aromatics with a pronounced raspberry note showing earthy and gentle spice notes. This is a fresh easy drinking style bottled immediately to capture the essence of the variety. On the palate it's bright with fruit purity showing a good intensity and balanced by cleansing acids.

2022 will probably be remembered as wet in most parts of Australia. However, in inland vineyards the rain did not hinder, rather it helped vines stay healthy and created favourable conditions for a modest and favourable crop across much of the country. Overall quality was up but yields were down.

Healthy and problem free fruit is selected in the vineyard and then picked in the cool of the night and then rushed to the nearby winery for a fast and focused vinification. Fermentation is cool in a closed static fermenter before a short maturation on lees and bottling.
