The nose displays varietal hits of Shiraz characterised by black fruits, hints of chocolate and vanilla with subtle oak hints. The palate delivers vibrant dark fruits, a touch of sweet fruit and a thin weave of tannins before ending with medium concentration.
Fruit sourced from vineyards in Langhorne Creek, one of South Australia’s most renowned sources of premium red grapes.
2020 had its challenges with a dry start and only a small portion of rain and with much of the country suffering drought conditions. The warm dry spell continued in December with some extreme hot temperature days recorded. It was a late ripening year and yields were down but despite the challenges it was another excellent vintage across South Australia.
Plus & Minus is a contemporary range of wines developed to be richer in antioxidants, minus the alcohol. These zero alcohol wines have been hand-made without the use of any artificial sweeteners but do see the addition of grape skin extract (GSE) during the winemaking process. This GSE is rich in naturally occurring antioxidants delivering more of those benefits that can already be found in red wine but without the alcohol. The Plus & Minus range of wines have been uniquely hand-crafted using only high-quality grapes from premium, dry-grown South Australian vineyards. This ensures the resultant wines remain vibrant and full-flavoured once the process of removing the alcohol has been completed.
