Description

  • French oak
  • Berries & plum
  • Vanilla & dark chocolate
  • Smooth tannins

"This is beautifully fruited and fragrant on the nose showing blackcurrant, thyme, roasted nut and a hint of cocoa notes. The succulent palate offers fleshy texture and ripe fruit intensity together with silky tannins, making it immediately approachable and drinkable. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2021

Dark ruby red, with aromas of blackberries, blueberries and plum, balanced with the softness of light oak, vanilla and dark chocolate. On the palate, smooth tannins, full body and a very long finish.

Paloma is the result of the selection of the best vineyards of La Mancha, and carefully picked grapes, and pasion for winemaking. A Tempranillo like no other. A modern classic.

100% Tempranillo grapes grown on vines 25+ years old on Spanish plateau.

Grapes were harvested in early October, cold macerated at 5ºC for 48 hours the fermented at 24-28ºC for 12-18 days. The wine was aged for 4 months in French oak.

Very palatable. Slight sweetness to start but then reverts on the tatse buds to more of Shiras vs merlot. Very good vale for money and enjoyable wine. More like this please.
