Description

- Strawberry & raspberry
- Floral notes
- Fresh acidity
"This is instantly appealing on the nose showing watermelon, peach, lemon zest and floral characters, followed by a brightly expressed palate that's light and refreshing. Pristine and lively with plenty of appeal" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2020
"Pale and pretty rosé made from a blend of pinot noir and malbec in a dry style that's both fragrant and precise. Lovely purity with gentle raspberry and strawberry flavours leading to a crisp, mouth-tingling finish" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Apr 2020
"Plush, plump, ripe and fruity. Loads of red fruit flavours - melon, strawberry and red cherry. Quite floral too. Flavours mirror the nose and repeat on the palate with a fresh youthful attack, plenty of acidity and charm. Balanced, quite lengthy and new" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Already delicious, this bright pink, vibrantly fruity wine has strong watermelon and strawberry flavours, a hint of spice, fresh acidity, a sliver of sweetness and a lively long finish" Michael Cooper
Alive on the nose with strawberry, raspberry fruit flavours and just a hint of dry herbs – sage, thyme and rosemary. It’s ripe and fruity, yet crisp, refreshing and dry.
This Rosé wine was drawn from 4 vineyards located in the Wairau River Valley. Whilst all have their own characteristics, they share in common the Wairau plains, gravel-rich, free draining and devigourating soil profile.
2019 proved a summer BBQ sensation but perhaps a little too hot and sweltering for the grape vines of Marlborough. After a wet and cold flowering season in November-December, which reduced the potential crop levels by up to 30% the sun came out and dried up all the rain in Marlborough and throughout New Zealand. A drier than average summer led to low water aquifers and very little natural rainfall which resulted in intense, concentrated flavours on the vines. Harvest began approximately two weeks ahead of schedule in the first week of March as the grapes rapidly accumulated flavour and sugars under the Marlborough sun. The result; intense fruit, ripe concentrated flavour & rich palate weight all balanced by crisp acidity and our signature stony minerality. These are action packed wines from a small vintage that we hope you enjoy.
